Argos has recalled BCE Tip Cement due to concerns over the toluene content in the product.
The toluene content of this product may be in excess of legal safety levels according to EU regulation.
The product may present a potential risk to anyone handling the product.
The tip cement is sold as part of the BCE Snooker and Pool Cue Care Kit, safety concerns only apply to the tip cement sold in the blue tube.
The Chartered Trading Standards Institute advice anyone who has already bought this product to stop using it immediately and keep out of reach of children and pets.
Those still in possession of any tip cement in the blue tube should contact BCE via 0808 1699114 or email customerservice@bce-uk.com to find out how to return this product to BCE free of charge and receive your free replacement tip cement.
