Woman dies following collision in South Cumbria
A woman in her 80s has died following a collision.
The collision occurred at around 2.30pm on Sunday in Windermere Road in Kendal at the junction with Green Hill.
A Volkswagen Polo collided with 81-year-old Maureen Harrison from Kendal.
The driver of the vehicle involved and other occupants were uninjured.
The road remained closed until 6.30pm.
Police are appealing for anyone who has dashcam footage to contact Cumbria Police on 101 quoting incident number 106.
