Barclays at Millom is shutting
BANK bosses say no jobs will be lost as a result of its branch closing in Millom.
The St George's Road branch is set to shut in March next year.
Bank chiefs said there will be no redundancies as a result of the closure – all staff will be moved to other nearby branches. The company said ‘customers are increasingly using other ways to do their banking.’
