INCIDENT: Soutergate
RESIDENTS of Ulverston are urged to be vigilant after a man tired to force his way into a home.
The incident happened in Soutergate yesterday.
A man described in his 20's/30's wearing a khaki woolen jacket approached a house of an elderly woman in the town.
She answered the door to a man showing an 'identity card' and asked her for a drink.
The woman refused, slammed the door shut and locked it immediately when the male tried to force himself in.
If anyone has any information of the incident call police on 101.
