GENEROUS donations from hundreds of Cumbria are bringing smiles to the faces of children in Romania.
Volunteers from Boxes of Hope Cumbria have begun distributing thousands of boxes to kids in the village of Hetea. Boxes of Hope has supported employment of kindergarten teacher in the past. The old kindergarten is a long walk from the village so this year it has contributed to refurbishing a building in the centre of the community to encourage better attendance from the children. Volunteers then travelled to two church groups before a drive over the mountains to Cluj-Napoca
