SOUTH Copeland residents will soon have the full Universal Credit system rolled out.
From December 5 onward Universal Credit will replace child tax credit, housing benefit, income support, jobseekers allowance, employment tax and support allowance, and working tax credit.
Residents who currently receive these old benefits will continue receiving them until they are informed otherwise by the Department of Work and Pensions.
The new system will distribute money monthly rather than weekly or fortnightly.
