THE council have announced six more days of road improvements on Jubilee Bridge, potentially causing further frustration for drivers.
Cumbria County Council have told residents that their contractor will be completing 'asphaltic expansion joint works' on Jubilee Bridge for six days.
The work will start this evening from 7:30pm - 9am and will continue on Saturday 7:30pm-10:30am and then every evening from Sunday 18 November to Wednesday 21 November 7:30pm-7am.
A spokesperson for Cumbria County Council said: "The work being carried out is to allow contractors the time to facilitate the completion of carriageway enhancement works on the bridge.
"We have organised the work to take place during the night to minimise impact on commuters.
"Traffic lights will also be in operation on the bridge and we apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause."
