THOUSANDS of pounds of equipment has been stolen from allotments in Askam, police said.
Cumbria Police is investigating the burglary which took place last Thursday night and into Friday at a number of allotments at the rear of Victoria Street.
A £2,000 Honda 350 Quad bike and generator have been reported stolen as well as other tools.

Police Community Support Officer, John McVea, told people to be mindful of their own property and to ensure items are properly secured at all times.
