STOCKS: Barrow food bank are hoping to raise money
BARROW'S food bank is holding an event on Friday to help raise funds.
The food bank is holding the event at Barrow Cricket Club, in Abbey Road, on Friday night, to help replenish stocks.
A spokesman told The Mail that their warehouse would usually gold nine tonnes of supplie but they are a third down.
In the past year they have almost 10,000 people from across Barrow, Ulverston and Millom - 5,741 were adults and 3,845 were children.
