PICK UP: A litter pick forms part of the event
A BARROW river will be the site for a series of community activities next week.
South Cumbria Rivers Trust has teamed up with Barrow Community Kitchen and Tesco Metro to host an event on Tuesday at Mill Beck.
The community day starts at 10.30am with a litter pick alongside the river, meeting at the Tesco store in Flass Lane.
Lunch will be provided by Barrow Community Kitchen, before an afternoon of family activities that include river dipping, and arts and crafts from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
The whole day or individual events are free to attend. Suitable clothing is advised.
