THE hottest festival around is attracting visitors to South Lakeland this weekend.
The eye-watering Holker Chilli Fest is being staged at Holker Hall, Cark, and continues today.
Brave visitors are the first to try the‘World’s Hottest Pizza,’ a fiery creation by Ged Fowler of The Chilli Pepper Company and Ian Robinson of Cartmel Cheeses.
The hot slices feature Naga Viper, a Cumbrian grown chilli which was in the Guinness records as the hottest in the world.
The public also took part in a much-anticipated chilli eating competition with Darth Naga.
The festivities include displays from specialist chilli companies from around the country and local food producers.
