A FLOWER and plant show will be held this weekend to bring some of the best Northern specalists and growers to south Cumbria.
Holker Hall will host the Bank Holiday special Flower Power Fair on Sunday August 26 from 10.30am until 4pm.
It will be the fifth time the Cartmel hall has held the fair.
Organiser Judy Popley said: "All the nurseries grow their own and bring a huge diversity of plants and I hand pick each participants for their high standards, selection of plants on sale and presentation and knowledge."
An array of late summer and autumn flowering plants will be on sale, while Flower Power continues to promote bee, butterfly and insect friendly plants.
Admission to the fair is free, with a local produce market in the courtyard.
