POLICE have released a CCTV image after a man was bitten on the nose in Cumbria.
Police are investigating a vicious assault that occurred on Washington Street, Workington. The assault occurred at approximately 3.45am on New Year's Day where a 19-year-old man was bitten on the nose.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured in CCTV footage in relation to this incident. The suspect is described as being a white male, of large build and was seen wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.
Anyone with any information, or who may be able to identify the man pictured, is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 and ask for PC 2312 Dan Corrigan or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
