A WOMAN who was killed after a collision with a trailer carrying a mini digger has been named as 25-year-old Rebecca Quail.
Rebecca Quail, known as Becca, from Penrith, was driving a Citroen car, which was involved in a collision with a trailer carrying a mini digger on the A6 at around 8.30am yesterday near Shap.
The trailer was being pulled by a Mercedes Sprinter van prior to the collision.
The car was driving south and the van was heading north.
Anyone who witnessed what happened and has yet to come forward is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101 quoting incident number 33 of 15 March 2017.
