TIM Farron has paid a visit to his home constituency in Westmorland and Lonsdale to cast his vote in the general election.
In the Lake District rain Mr Farron travelled to Stonecross Manor Hotel, in Kendal to presumably put a cross next to his own name on the ballot.
The leaders of all the major parties are now left to sit and wait for the results after a gruelling seven weeks of campaigning.
The Evening Mail team will be at the Barrow and Kendal counts from 10pm tonight, bringing you breaking news when it happens.
On Twitter follow our reporters Emma Preston @emmaprestonNWEM and Amy Fenton @amyfentonNWEM to keep up to date with the night's developments in Barrow.
The result is expected to be announced around 4am.
