A MAN has been handed a curfew after obstructing a police officer.
Peter Smith, 50, of Cobden Street, Dalton, pleaded guilty to the charge from September 30 in Dalton after obstructing PC Samantha Creegan.
Appearing at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on February 14, Smith was handed an eight week curfew between 6pm and 6am, and was ordered to pay £150 compensation and court costs of £85.
