PATIENTS at a Furness GP surgery are being asked for their input in a bid to help improve care.
Abbey Road Surgery, in Barrow is appealing for more people to join their Patient Participation Group in a move which will help improve engagement in the community.
The surgery, which is due to move into the new £12m Primary Care Centre which will sit the sight of the former school, Alfred Barrow, wants to give their patients the opportunity to get involved.
The group meet every 6-8 weeks and discuss any changes or developments taking place at the surgery.
Janet May, Practice Manager at Abbey Road Surgery, said: “Being a member of this group gives people the opportunity to be at the forefront of change.”
