A POPULAR Barrow hairdressers is set to reopen offering more services after a two week refurbishment.
The Priory hairdressers in Duke Street has re-opened after extensive refurbishment works have been completed.
The salon has re-opened under the management of Ben Lavender after previous manager Kelly Wolveridge stepped down.
Mr Lavender has worked at the Priory for 10 years and after taking over as manager he made the decision to update the interior.
He said: "It's been a really successful salon every since I've worked here. So when I was asked to start managing the shop I thought about how we could carry this on.
"It's been open a while and things date so we decided to update the salon.
"We're carrying on what we've always done but the refurbishment will allow us to offer more services to our customers."
The salon will now host a walk-in barber's shop for men along with offers on botox and lip fillers upstairs.
Mr Lavender said: "We've put in a new barbers section which will be open on Thursdays and Fridays.
"If it's successful then we're going to look at opening it up on other days as well."
Mr Lavender explained that they will be offering the new barbering service to increase their customer base with the intention of making it a full time affair.
He said: "I'm quite excited, we're a great team and work really well together. We're all looking forward to the future and what it brings."
The new refurbishment will allow the salon to take on more staff and provide more jobs in hairdressing, whilst providing their customers with a range of services.
Mr Lavender said: "We're even going to be offering a glass of fizz or a beer to customers who come in for a new cut."
