THE Rave of the Dead rocks up in Ulverston next week, and it's shaping up to be the biggest Halloween show in South Cumbria once again.

Monster Monster and Homegrown's annual takeover of the Coronation Hall returns on Saturday October 28, and they welcome back some special guests to headline.

Award-winning DJ and production duo Phibes have starred at the Rave of the Dead before, and return as a high-profile name on the scene, who have recently returned from a hugely successful Canadian tour alongside several major names and have just topped two million listens on Soundcloud.

The brothers, Ryan and Scott Wild have been devastating dancefloors and festivals across the country since 2014, and having featured at the very first Halloween rave at the Coronation Hall, they have been invited back by popular demand for another evening of bass house, mid-tempo breaks and drum 'n' bass infused with hip hop.

The varied music policy will take the audience on a journey through light and dark, taking in underground dance from right across the spectrum.

Resident DJs from Monster Monster and Homegrown will once again curate, bringing their own genre-mashing sets, and dropping in tunes that are guaranteed to get the Coronation Hall rocking.

Mischief Mafia and Matrix Circus add to the entertainment with their multi-skilled collective of dancers, hoopers, and circus performers, there will be the latest in laser technology, and a full club transformation courtesy of Gypsy Carrot.

Dressing up is not obligatory but it is definitely encouraged, and the theme this year is Dia de los Muertos - the Mexican Day of the Dead.

A limited number of tickets remain for this 18+ event, with previous years having sold out.

The show on Saturday October 28 gets under way at 8.30pm, and tickets are available in advance from the Coronation Hall box office.
