A CHANGE-OF-USE application for a Lake District guesthouse has been approved by the national park authority.
Meadfoot bed-and-breakfast in New Road, Windermere, is to become a holiday let.
Approval of the application from David Ashton, of Guiting Power, a village in Gloucestershire, was granted subject to a number of conditions, including that the premises only be used 'as short-term holiday letting accommodation' and not for any other purpose.
