IT’S NO secret we all love a game of bingo.
Here at The Mail we are no different. We are taking a walk down memory lane to some of the events at our Bingo Halls.
In 2011, Chair of Barrow Community Trust Rob Cairns tried his hand at bingo at the Ocean Wave Community Centre. He later presented a cheque to the group for £600 which would be used to take everyone on a day trip out to Blackpool.
In 2014, General manager Paul Holland at Apollo Bingo, on Hollywood Park in Barrow, was happy to welcome the announcement in the budget, that duty on Bingo would drop from 20% to 10%.
In 2015, Bingo winner Abigail Doughty paid a visit to the Barrow Bingo hall. The lucky player tried her hand and found great success at the tables once again.
