IT’S NEVER a bad time to go for a run, least of all Christmas.
The Mail takes you back to some of the fun runs that our community have enjoyed over the years.
In 2014, Barrow held a Park Christmas fun run to get residents in the spirit of the season. Runners came dressed as Santa Clauses, Elves and Reindeer for the day.
Also, that year the Walney Fun Run included a 5k and 10k run along the west shore.
Participants included Audra Glew and husband Robert from Barrow who took part in the 10km run.
This followed from the earlier year when Adult running sessions were held around Barrow to preparation for the event.
In 2015, Barrow Island School runners used their playground to train for their Sunday Fun Run.
