DUNDERDALE Marlene Marina George and Marlene's family members would like to offer their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, friends and neighbours, from near and far, for their wonderful support over recent days and for their numerous messages of condolence. Many, many thanks to the A&E Department and Ward 6 of Furness General Hospital for the overwhelming care, consideration and support given to us during Marlene's final moments, thanks also extend to all other departments including district nurses for their care of Marlene over the years. We also thank the Co-op Funeral Directors and their staff, especially Sharron, for their sympathy and help during a difficult time for us. Many thanks to Stuart Matthews for his thoughtful and moving service. A big thank you also goes to all who generously donated to St Mary's Hospice and the Alzheimer's Association, who both shared a generous £400 collection. Finally a great big thank you to the Newton Arms, Dalton for a wonderful 'send off' (she would have enjoyed it).
