SHAW Norman Lt.Cdr RN (retired) I am very sorry to announce that Norman passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospice on the 17th July. He had a very full and interesting life and was much loved. He spent 30 years in the Royal Navy, worked as a Project Manager in BAE Systems followed by twelve years as a County Councillor for Roosecote Ward in Barrow. He leaves a wife, Lynda, their two children Ben and Nick, three older children Michael, Diane and Peter, and a brother and sister. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed. Funeral service to take place at Thorncliffe Crematorium on Monday 2nd August at 1pm.
