WILLIAMS Margaret (nee Thompson) Of Ulverston, passed away peacefully, on December 27, 2020, aged 86, following a brief illness at Furness General Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Edward (Ted) Williams, loving mum of Ian and Tim, and mother-in-law of Lynne. Margaret was known locally as a piano teacher and to friends and family for her scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music. In her later years she demonstrated great courage and determination to retain her independence. Service and committal at Ulverston Parish Church on Monday, January 11 at 11.30am. Sign in to add a tributeI was saddened to hear about the passing of Margaret, and although i have not been her carer recently, we became firm friends. I am so relieved that i was able to see her through the porch on the Sunday before Christmas, and she seemed in good spirits, my thoughts are with you all, Lesley.
