ASHTON Rachel McConnell (nee Nairn) It is with great sadness to announce Rachel passed away peacefully on the 10th February aged 95, in the loving care of St. Georges Nursing Home. Rachel was loving wife to the late Ramsay, much loved mam to Patricia (Pat) and John, a dear mother-in-law to the late Dennis and Sue, caring nanna to James, Jennie and Victoria, great-nanna and sister to the late Margaret and Archie, treasured sister-in-law to June, aunty and dear friend to many. Family and friends please meet for a service at Thorncliffe Crematorium on Wednesday 19th February 2020, at 11:30am. Any donations would be appreciated towards the Amenities Fund at St. Georges (cheques payable to Risedale Estates Ltd). All enquiries to Little and Caine, 1-3 Dalkeith Street, Barrow. Tel: 820747.
