THE case of a south Cumbria man accused of trespassing in a woman’s home, before sexually assaulting her, has been sent to the crown court.
Jake William Sanders denies one charge of trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence and one of sexual touching without consent. The 23-year-old, of Victoria Road North, Windermere, is accused of committing the offences in Bowness on Saturday July 1.
He pleaded not guilty at Furness Magistrates' Court in Barrow on Monday, and will next appear at Carlisle Crown Court on August 4.
