The Great North Air Ambulance headed to Grizedale Forest this afternoon to treat a man who fell from his mountain bike.
A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after coming off his bike in the Lake District.
The Great North Air Ambulance flew to Grizedale Forest this afternoon to treat a 24-year-old man who had sustained a back injury after falling from his mountain bike.
He was assessed and treated at the scene before being transferred to Preston Royal Infirmary.
