Plans to close M6 put on hold
POOR weather has delayed key work on the M6 near Cumbria.
The M6 was due to be closed tonight in both directions between junctions 33 and 34 this evening to allow for key maintenance work.
However, the project team took the decision this morning to delay the work due to bad weather.
A decision on when the work will be carried out will be made early next week.
