The Mitalee in Dalton Road, Barrow
THE owner of a popular Barrow town centre Indian restaurant has revealed the reason for its sudden closure.
We reported last week how the Mitalee Indian restaurant, at the bottom of Dalton Road in Barrow, had closed with a mysterious sign in the window stating it would be shut until further notice. The Evening Mail made several, unsuccessful attempts to contact the owner Evan Ahmed.

Now, a new sign has appeared in the restaurant's windows, informing customers that the Mitalee is undergoing a major refurbishment.
