A WARNING of ice and slippery conditions on the roads will remain in force in Cumbria until noon on Saturday.
The Met Office has issued a yellow level alert for ice for Furness and the west coast of the county from 4pm Friday until noon on Saturday.

The warning says ice is likely to form on untreated surfaces especially where showers of sleet, snow and hail occur.
The Met Office said the conditions may lead to disruption and difficult driving conditions.
