A PENSIONER accused of possessing Class A drugs has been denied bail.
Anthony Wharton, 68, of Marsden Street, Barrow, appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court on November 16 charged with supplying crack cocaine and heroin between May 4 and June 2.
The defendant gave no indication of plea for either offence and has been remanded in custody.
He will next appear before Preston Crown Court on December 16 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
