A MOTORIST from Barrow has admitted to drink driving and possessing a Class A drug in court.
Adam John Bickerstaffe, of Ramsden Street, Barrow, pleaded guilty to drink driving after a reading taken by police in Lapstone Road, Millom, on January 1 found that he had 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The 28-year-old also admitted to possessing a quantity of cocaine when he appeared before Furness Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
He was fined a total of £395 and banned from driving for 36 months.
Bickerstaffe was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.
An order was also made for the cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed.
