A pub in Ulverston is celebrating 17 years of business in south Cumbria.
The Stan Laurel Inn, at The Ellers, owned and operated by Paul and Trudy Dewar, first opened its doors back in April 2007.

After previously running a pub in Kendal, the couple took over the Ulverston establishment and have since enjoyed nearly decades as a popular haunt in the area.
They said: "We can't believe it's been 17 years since we opened our doors to the public.

"It's been a rollercoaster of a ride, especially the past few years, as anyone in hospitality knows.
"We can't thank you [customers] enough for all your support and custom over the last 17 years - especially over the past few years."
