A charity in Barrow has been able to make its site more accessible after receiving a £10,000 grant.
The money has come from the Screwfix Foundation and has gone to Vision Support Barrow, who have used the funding to install a new lift at their residential home, Ostley House.

At the site, care is provided to residents with sight loss, dementia, or a dual diagnosis.
The foundation commented: "Since completion, the lift has been used to transfer a number of residents up and down each floor.
"Whether to enter a coach or ambulance for a hospital visit, or to access a lower floor in a wheelchair, this project has really opened up the first and second floors of Ostley House."
Vision Support is a key provider of care for over 800 visually impaired people across the South West area of Cumbria.
