A popular pub in the Lake District has officially come under new management.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, with the new team coming into the Pig and Whistle in Cartmel for a relaunch night.
Back in September last year it was announced that the long-time, family owners would be moving on.
The new managers said: "We are so excited to get stuck in and can’t wait to be a part of the community here in Cartmel and to bring this beautiful little pub back to life.
"You may notice a few changes and there will be plenty more to come in the next few weeks, months and beyond."
