Anthony Jones, a 31-year-old BAE employee from Dalton married his true love Nicola Plumb, a 28-year-old NHS healthcare assistant from Barrow in a spectacular vintage extravaganza.

Date of wedding: Saturday June 25, 2016.

How they met: The couple met through mutual friends on a night out. They had previously dated a few years earlier and when they met again they knew they were meant to be together.

Proposal: Anthony proposed on Christmas Day 2012, waking Nicola before their daughters woke to open their presents. He then got down on one knee and asked Nicola to spend the rest of her life with him.

Venue: St Mary's Church, Dalton.

Theme: Vintage.

Bride's Outfit: A Mori Lee bridal gown, from Marrime in Kendal, compete with a veil and head wear.

Groomsmen: Kevin Locke, Robert MacCann, Kurt Plumb, Lee Jones and Robert Plumb.

Best Man: Steven Caine.

Bridesmaids: Laura Doherty, Ashleigh Hartle, Tiffanay Whitehouse, Emma Pearson,Vicki Davis, Danielle Watson (bride's sister) and Olivia Watson (bride's niece).

Flower girls: Leah and Laylah Jones (the couple's daughters) and Bobbie-Mae Carter (the couple's niece).

Flowers: Deborah's Florist, Barrow.

Transport: The couple were chauffeured in their uncle's own classic car.

Reception: Chequers Hotel, Dalton.

Table settings: The couple had shabby chic bird cages and jars containing fresh flowers all tying in with their vintage theme. The room was perfectly decorated by Claire Burns, a close friend of the bride.

Favours: Cake pops and a shot of Jägermeister along with St Mary's Hospice trolley tokens with donations made directly to the Ulverston hospice.

Cake: A three tier cake by Donna at Corr's Cakes, Barrow.

First Dance: Peter Cetera - Glory of Love, the favourite song of both the bride and groom.

Entertainment: Chequers Hotel provided their in-house DJ and the couple also hired a caricaturist.

Honeymoon: The couple will travel to Greece later this month.
