WITH exams now a distant memory, youngsters celebrated the start of summer by walking the red carpet as prom season gets into full swing.
PROMS AT OTHER SCHOOLS:
Last Wednesday, it was the turn of the teenagers from Chetwynde School to don their glad rags and enjoy the high life.
Elegant evening gowns and smart suits were the order of the day for the formal occasion at Clarence House Country Hotel and Restaurant in Dalton.
Evening Mail photographers have attended school proms across south Cumbria as pupils get ready for a well earned break.
