MILLOM put up a brave as they went down 36-18 to new National Conference Division Three champions Beverley.
The Woollybacks could not prevent their East Riding hosts from taking the two points they needed to be certain of finishing the season at the top of the table, having been 16-4 down at the break.
Tries for the visitors came from brothers Adam and Ethan Kelly, along with former Barrow Raiders man Ross Brookes.
Lee Postlethwaite kicked three goals in the only game involving a South Cumbrian amateur club to go ahead over the weekend.
