MARK Tyson led the way Park with a hat-trick of tries at Fallowfield as Askam defeated Hunslet Warriors 50-12.
The Villagers were 20-12 up at the break in a must-win game for their National Conference Division Two play-off hopes.
Other tries for the home side came from Dan Rhodes, Sam Dowsett, Jake Spedding, Russ Bolton (2), and Brad Jackson.
Jackson also added seven goals in a game sponsored by his family in memory of granddad Denis, a well-known figure at the club and in wider South Cumbrian RL circles.
