VICTORY for Millom over Eastmoor will secure third place in National Conference League Division Three and home advantage in the play offs.

Hanley Dawson, Noah Robinson and Johny Hodgson are unavailable, with doubts over Charlie Emslie, Adam Kelly and Joe Wright.

But Tyler Lancaster comes into the squad along with youngster Hadley Tyson.

“It won’t be easy, but we are quietly confident and though it was good to get a point at Clock Face last week, I was a little disappointed,” said Millom coach Tom Sibley. “We should have beaten them.”

Barrow Island can relax going into their final game of the season at home to Dewsbury Celtic with promotion to Division Two secured.

“We got the vital points last week at Oldham St Annes with a great performance to win 32-18 after going 18-0 down,” said Island coach Joe Elliott, who welcomes back Dan White and Matty Sayle, but is without Tom Brannon, Joe Mallinson and Ben Garner.

In Division Two, Askam need nothing less than two points against leaders Stanningley to keep their play-off hopes alive.

“We gave them a good game away and, last week, had a great win at East Leeds a confidence booster for the lads,” said Askam coach Dave Clark.

Adam Jackson and Mike Wilson return, but Keir Shepherd and Jamie Butler are unavailable.
