LEWIS Charnock makes his first appearance for Barrow Raiders since the first game of the season as they host Batley Bulldogs in the Betfred Championship Shield this afternoon.

Charnock has been out since having surgery on a shoulder injury sustained at London Broncos in February, but has now fully recovered to take his place in the halves alongside Jamie Dallimore.

Danny Morrow is back in action after two months on the sidelines due to injury too, lining up in the centre with Ryan Burroughs due to Jarrad Stack being ruled out with a knee injury. Tom Loxam moves out to the wing in place of Brett Carter.

The other change to the squad from the 38-0 defeat at Leigh Centurions two weeks ago is on the interchange bench, where Matty Holmes replaces Glenn Riley.
