HOLKER Old Boys reserves take on Bootle in the Terry Clinton Memorial Cup final tomorrow.

The tasty clash takes place at Dalton United's Railway Meadow home (2pm kick-off).

Bootle will be confident mood after defeating Furness Premier League champions Hawcoat Park in the semi-final on Monday to stretch their unbeaten run to 17 matches.

The villagers progressed thanks to a solitary goal scored by way of a long-range free-kick from Graham Hartley.

Holker Reserves won their semi-final by the same margin against recently-crowned Paul Wilson Memorial Trophy champions Kirkby United. David Cook scored the decisive goal.

Old Boys last won the competition in 2014, as part of a league and cup double. They beat Barrow Celtic in the final that year, having lost to Barrow Wanderers in the showpiece in 2011. Holker lifted the Paul Wilson Memorial Trophy last season.

Bootle haven’t lifted an Furness Premier League trophy since 2010 when they beat Vickerstown FC in the Paul Wilson Memorial Trophy, but they did win the Furness Senior Cup in both 2014 and 2015.

Their last appearance in the final of the Terry Clinton competition came in 2009 when they lost to Furness Cavaliers.

Crooklands Casuals Reserves were the victors in the Horne Cup Final night as they defeated Bridge United 3-2.

Jake Richards, Louis Jones and Dan Sharpe were the Cassies' heroes on the night.

Furness Premier League action took place at Park Vale as Vickerstown Reserves beat Croftlands 4-0.

Impressive youngsters Tom Dawson, with a hat-trick, and Brody Luxon scored the home side's goals.

Vickerstown’s youngsters shone again as they Coniston 4-0, Brody Luxon, Ryan Jackson and Brad Palfreyman on target. Barrow Celtic beat Holker Old Boys Reserves 3-0 thanks to goals from Rob Johnson (2) and Zak Parker. Referee Dave Shurgold had an excellent game.

Croftlands Park were crowned Division Two champions after they beat Britannia Reserves 4-1.

Isaac Prosser (2) and Charlie Segger (2) shared the goals, Ross Walker replied for The Brit.

Swarthmoor Reserves player manager ?? scored a sublime volley to take all three points in a 1-0 win over Barrow Celtic Reserves.

Vickerstown first team made the long trek to Hesketh Bank and came away empty-handed as they lost 2-1 in the West Lancs League Premier Division. Danny Cummings added to his impressive tally for the season from midfield.
