TEENAGE French midfielder Donovan Makoma has joined League Two Stevenage FC after leaving Barrow AFC.
The Bluebirds will receive an undisclosed fee for the 19-year-old, having offered him a new deal at the end of last season.
Makoma arrived at Holker Street last summer, when Paul Cox was in charge, but had little game-time until the arrival of Ady Pennock as manager.
The club offered him a contract at the conclusion of the campaign, but he instead went on trial with Stevenage.
“I am very happy to be here and join this club,” Makoma told the Stevenage club website. “It is a great team and a great opportunity for me to play my football in the league.
“I would like to thank the manager, chairman and everyone who has helped support me.”
