Millom look to kickstart their season when they take on Oldham St Annes at Devonshire Road (2.30pm, Saturday) in the National Conference third division.

The Woolybacks lost their opening two games with Batley Boys and Waterhead but take on a St Annes side that thrashed Batley Boys 48-6 last weekend.

The home side have selection issues with Owen Myers, Johnny Hodgson, Adam Kelly and Astin Mossop all ruled out. And there are doubts over Tyler Lancaster, Ross Brookes and Dane Kelly.

Coach Tom Sibley said: "It was a disappointing 80-minute last week home to Waterhead (8-46). We have trained hard this week and hope to get a big support at the ground."

Barrow Island are on the road. They travel to Bradford Dudley Hill without hooker Shane Sanderson but back on board are Blain Marwood and Adam Ford.

In the NWML, Hindpool host a rejuvenated Walney Cents at Brisbane Park but the Tigers are without Ryan Mason and Nathan Loughran. Coming in for his first outing is Connor Goodings.

George Nichols and Liam Wright are back for the Cents while Andy Litherland and Matty Elliot are unavailable. Dave Nicholson is rated at 50-50.

Askam are a club in crisis so soon into the new season. They cannot raise enough players for their scheduled game with Dalton at Kelland Park.

Roose Pioneers are home to Westhoughton and go into action minus Adam Batty who requires surgery on a shoulder problem while Euan James and Kristian Tyson are also missing.

Coach Jordan Herdman finalises his 17 tonight.

Ulverston are back in action after Bury Broncos pulled out of last week’s fixture. They face Folly Lane at Dragley Beck.
