OFFICERS and players at Barrow AFC and Carlisle United FC have been working together as part of hate crime week.
Cumbria Police have been speaking to players at both Barrow AFC and Carlisle United FC regarding hate crime which takes place online and in person.
National Hate Crime Awareness Week takes place between October 9 and 16. The week aims to raise awareness of what hate crime is, how it affects people, encourage people to report it, and let people know what is happening in the local area to tackle it.
Police have been speaking to football players about hate crime and how they can assist each other with stamping it out.
