Barrow Raiders have announced that they have currently raised £5,145.89 from the club's fundraiser.
The Betfred League 1 club had sold NHS and keyworker thank-you shirts.
Chairman Steve Neale has now agreed to top up the amount to £6,000.
As a result of this, the NHS and Barrow Raiders Community Foundation will both receive £3,000.
Additionally, the club will donate £2,089.94 to good causes in the next few months.
This amount had been raised after the club had asked for donations, which in return would lead to a key worker being displayed on their advertising boards throughout the summer.
The Raiders finished by thanking Jack Fawcett and Amy Hindle for their hard work, and to all the people who bought thank-you shirts and donated to the club.
