BARROW AFC will discover their FA Cup first round opponents on Monday.

The Bluebirds and the rest of League One and League Two enter the competition in the first round proper.

The join non-league clubs who have battled through the qualifying rounds, culminating with the fourth qualifying round this weekend.

The draw will take place at around 7.10pm on Monday ahead of Bishop's Stortford’s clash with St Albans City, which will be the final tie of the fourth qualifying round weekend.

Both the draw and the match will be available to watch live on BT Sport.

The ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday, November 7.

The winners of the first round ties will pick up £22,629.

It will be the first time in four years AFC are in the hat for the draw.

The last time they reached the first round was in 2016 when goals from Richie Bennett and and Paul Turnbull earned AFC a 2-1 win over Tranmere.

They went on to defeat Taunton in a first round replay at Holker Street before a Byron Harrison double earned them a famous win at Bristol Rovers to secure a spot in the third round.

But AFC missed out on a big draw against Premier League opposition and were dumped out of the competition at the hands of Rochdale
