Barrow AFC have secured the future of another of their key players after midfielder Lewis Hardcastle extended his contract with the Bluebirds until the end of next season.
Hardcastle initially arrived at Holker Street on loan from Championship side Blackburn Rovers in February 2019 and his dynamic performances from the middle of the park quickly caught the eye of the Holker Street faithful.
They also led to Barrow manager Ian Evatt acting quickly to sign him on a permanent basis and he put pen to paper on a 18-month contract the following month.
The 21-year-old has been a regular starter since his arrival and has scored six goals in his 52 appearances so far in his AFC career.
Hardcastle, who had previously played on loan at Salford City and Port Vale, joins the likes of John Rooney, Josh Kay and Dior Angus, who have also extended their deals with Barrow over the course of the season.
