Barrow's Georgia Stanway was one of three players to score hat-tricks as holders Manchester City stormed into the quarter finals of the Women's FA Cup with a 10-0 hammering of Ipswich Town.

Pauline Bremer and Jess Park also struck trebles for the Women's Super League leaders against their completely outgunned visitors, who ply their trade in the fourth tier of women's football.

City fielded ten full internationals in what was the second game in charge for interim boss Alan Mahon and they broke the deadlock after 19 minutes when Laura Coombs scooped the ball into the net.

Bremer doubled the lead when she fired home after bringing down Lauren Hemp's ball into the box and cutting inside before Park made it 3-0 after half an hour.

The goal spree continued five minutes into the second half when Bremer scored her second before Stanway - back in midfield after a recent stint at right-back - got in on the act by tapping in Janine Beckie's cross.

Bremer then completed her hat-trick in the 64th minute after playing a one-two on the edge of the area before Stanway doubled her tally just a minute later.

Park then ensured an argument over the match ball by adding two more of her own, the second of which was a powerful effort from long range, and Stanway made sure she wouldn't be left out of that, as she sent in a rocket with four minutes left for her third.
